National workforce plan using Six Steps approach

The Scottish Radiology Transformation Programme (2016-2023) – SRTP produced a Diagnostic Imaging Workforce Plan for NHS Scotland (Workforce Planning – Scottish Radiology Transformation Programme (2016-2023))

Aim

The aim of the Workforce Planning project was to deliver a national workforce plan for the radiology service in Scotland, based on data and professional judgement…’ Workforce Planning – Scottish Radiology Transformation Programme (2016-2023)

This included:

  • Mapping out the current state of the radiology workforce and supply.
  • Projecting future demand using data and scenario modelling and identify the workforce required to meet that demand.
  • Recommendations to fill the gaps.
